Leif has held many commissions of trust in the Swedish Bar Association including member of the Board 1988-1994 and President of the Bar 1996-1999. He was a board member of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) 2000-2012. He has been a member of the IBA Council, 1997-2000 as well as a member of the Press Council PON) 2011-2017. He has been a member of the Disciplinary Board 2010-2022 (deputy chairman since 2017). He is a member of the Board of the Emil Heijnes Foundation for Legal Research since 2003 and in 2016 he was appointed by the government as a member of the advisory council of the Swedish Economic Crime Authority and 2022 he was appointed as bordmember of the Swedish Institute for Human Rights.<\/p>\n
Leif Ljungholm was awarded the Swedish Bar Association\u00b4s price of 2022 for outstanding achievements within the legal profession. In January 2023 he was awarded H.M. The King\u00b4s Medal in the 8th size with the ribbon of the Order of the Seraphim for outstanding achievements for the Swedish legal society.<\/p>\n
